ITV News - Wales This Week Feature
Following our meeting with a representative of ITV who had previously expressed an interest in doing a feature on the FiltaStraw project they believed that the project more than deserved a slot in the programming and a more in-depth feature would do this great humanitarian aid the justice it deserves.
This feature has been a great public platform that has helped to launch the product and with a little luck other media groups will latch on and follow ITV’s lead on this project.

On the 6th of November 2006, as part of its ‘Wales This Week’ programme, ITV Wales broadcast a report on the Rotary Club of Brynmawr and its involvement in the FiltaStraw Project.
The report was conducted by Helen Callaghan and gave a great insight into the project, its aims and of course the people that are making it all happen.
